Phone Keeps Disconnecting From Wifi – Android Device

Phone Keeps Disconnecting From Wifi – Android Device

Hello everyone, today in this artical, we will tell you what to do if our phone keeps disconnecting from the Wi-Fi. Now the first thing what we will do is we will restart the router. If you have not restarted the router for a long period of time then switch off the router. Wait for about 10 seconds and then switch iton again.

Now check if your phone permanently connects to the Wi-Fi. The other thing what we will do is if you are using some kind of VPN connection in your android device, either disable the VPN connection or uninstall the VPN app and check if the phone can now connect to the Wi-Fi or not. Then after that what we will do is we will go to settings we will go to connections here. We will goto Wi-Fi.

Then we will tap on this three dotted icons here- advanced and if you see there is an option here Wi-Fi power saving mode. If it is enable, disable it. Now tap on this arrow here. Go to Wi-Fi control history and tap on this option turn on Wi-Fi automatically. Make sure that turn on Wi-Fi automatically is selected and also Wi-Fi power setting mode it is disabled.

After that whatwe’ll do is we’ll go back and you will see there is one more application here smart switch. I will select this application here and if you see allow app to control Wi-Fi it is enable and when it is enabled this application can either turn on or turn off the Wi-Fi. So I need to make sure this option is disabled.

So after this you check if your phone can connect to the Wi-Fi permanently. Also if you have installed any security application such as McAfeeor Norton AntiVirus, disable those applications and check ifyou can connect to the Wi-Fi properly. Now the last option for you isto restart your Android device in safe mode and check if the phone can connect with the Wi-Fi continuously and if the phone can connect that means there are certain applications in your Android device that is causing the issue.

So letus see how to restart the Android device in safe mode. Now it might vary according to the models of the Android device. I’m using note 8. So if I have to restart my Note 8 in safe mode then at first what i will do is i will restart my note8. For that i will press the power button. Then I will select restart and then restart.

Now the note 8 will restart and once this noted 8 restarts and when I see the Samsung logo I have to press the volume down button. I will press the volume down button until I see the safe mode. Now I will release the button and if I see at the bottom here my Android device has started in safe mode. Now check if you can connect to the Wi-Fi when in safe mode and just wait for a few minutes to check if the Wi-Fi remains connected for a few minutes now.

If the Wi-Fi can connect in safe mode for some time that means there are applications in your Android device that is causing the issue. Now unfortunately you won’t be able to know which application is causing the issue. So the only way for you is to uninstall all of the application and reinstall it one by one to check which app causes the issue. Hopefully this should fix the issue.
